Family 'devastated' over death of man after Fife flat incident
The family of a young man allegedly murdered at a flat say have been left utterly shocked and devastated'' by his death.
Alex Forbes, 25, suffered serious injuries and died at the scene of the incident in Victoria Road, Kirkcaldy, Fife, in the early hours of Monday.
A 51-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder over the death, police said.
He is expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court at a later date.
The family of Mr Forbes, who was from Edinburgh, have paid tribute to him in a statement released through Police Scotland.
His family said: Alex was so young and died so tragically. His death has left us utterly shocked and devastated.
He was loved by his family and everyone who knew him, and we are now trying to come to terms with our loss.
We would ask for our privacy to be respected at this time while we grieve.''
