EXCLUSIVE: Sir Chris Hoy calls for fresh Edinburgh Tour De France bid
Edinburgh cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy has called for Edinburgh to launch a fresh bid to host the opening stage of the Tour De France.
The capital previously lost to Yorkshire in 2014 when they last tried to bring the Grand Depart to Scotland but maintained they would try for it again.
There had been talk of the city bidding for the competition in the near future, but at the moment officials say they're "evaluating the situation."
