Eurovision winner cancels festival appearance after band denied visas

Conchita Wurst - a bearded drag queen who previously won Eurovision - has cancelled her appearance at Edinburgh International Festival after her band members were denied visas.
She was due to sing tonight with Basalt, a group of three Syrian artists.
Conchita won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014.
The group was meant to be performing at the opening concert in the New European Songbook series.
Conchita is based in Vienna.
