Edinburgh streets closed after collision between bus and pedestrian

Emergency services have taped off Hanover Street and George Street

Police have shut down a street in Edinburgh city centre after a collision involving a man and a bus.

Emergency services were called to Hanover Street around 1.48pm, with police, ambulance and four appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service in attendance.

Hanover Street and George Street remain closed and taped off by police.

People are being asked to avoid the area.
