The Scottish SPCA is appealing for help for one of their rehoming centre in Edinburgh.

The centre is currently caring for 38 cats like Zita (pictured), and are running extremely low on cat food in jelly.

Items can be purchased from the centre’s Amazon wish list or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery to the centre.

Centre manager, Diane Aitchison, said, “We are in need of essential food for the cats in our care.

“We are always extremely busy at the centre and have a lot of hungry mouths to feed.

“We are in need of Whiskas cat food in jelly to keep our cats like Zita happy and healthy while they wait to find their forever homes.

“Your support means that we can continue to provide the best possible care for the animals at our centre.

“We’d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know our cats will be too!”
