Edinburgh Rugby stand-off Jason Tovey will be sidelined for around 8 weeks after fracturing his wrist.
The Welshman was hurt while training last week, and a scan at Spire Murrayfield Hospital has since revealed a small fracture.
It's not thought he'll need surgery.
He'll remain in the care of the club's medical team for ongoing rehabilitation and assessment.
