Edinburgh is home to the best luxury hotel in the UK, according to Tripadvisor's latest 'Travellers' Choice' awards. The Chester Residence on Rothesay Place also came seventh in a list covering the whole of Europe and 16th in the UK Small hotels category. Owner of the hotel, Graham Wood, said: “We are delighted that our guests have recognised the efforts of our team for the third year running.
