Edinburgh hotel blaze tackled by fire crews
A fire that broke out in an Edinburgh hotel on Saturday evening has been extinguished by emergency crews.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the Haymarket Hub Hotel on Clifton Terrace just after 5pm to extinguish the sixth floor blaze.
Five appliances and one height appliance were deployed by firefighters who remained at the scene until 12:50am on Sunday.
There were no casualties reported.
Edinburgh Trams also had to run a short service due to the road being blocked by emergency service vehicles, however the full service has now resumed.
