Edinburgh football club "devastated" after 120 medals for memorial match stolen
An Edinburgh football club says it is "devastated" after 120 personalised medals meant for a memorial match were stolen.
The medals were taken from a container at Inch Park belonging to Edinburgh South CFC earlier this week. It's ahead of their 'Joe Clapperton Memorial Tournament', being held tomorrow.
The event is in memory of former player 12-year-old Joe Clapperton, who died of cancer in 2017.
The team says the event will still go ahead but are urging those responsible to come forward and bring the medals back.
