An Edinburgh cyclist is claiming he is terrified about being knocked off his bike by inconsiderate drivers.

The man - who doesn't want to be named - posts videos to Twitter of incidents where he has narrowly avoided being clipped by a driver.

He told Forth 1: "The other day a bus swerved right past me and if there had been stronger winds then I would probably have been taken out completely.

"The driver caught up with me and when he drove past he was shaking his head and looking at me like I was in the wrong."

The cyclist claims that Nicolson Street is becoming a nightmare because vehicles are parking on the cycle lanes.

He added: "Quite delivery drivers, cleaners and utility vehicles block the lane which means I need to swerve out to go past them."
