Edinburgh Airport has been ranked as the worst in the UK for disabled people in a new disability report.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which regulates air travel, rated the capital as "poor".

It's the only airport in the country to recieve the lowest possible grading.

It has been judged on how long disabled passengers have to wait for assistance, passenger satisfaction and how much consultation the airport has with disabled organisations.

A spokesman for Edinburgh Airport said it had taken "great steps" to improve the way it helped people with disabilities.

All 30 airports in the UK have been given a performance rating of either very good, good, taking steps, or poor.
