13 men have been reported to the procurator fiscal following anti-social behaviour and disorder in Dunfermline - with Police describing the incident as "involving groups of football fans"

13 men have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal over an incident of anti-social behaviour and disorder in Dunfermline's town centre.

The incident happened on Saturday September 17th around 11:15am, with officer describing it as "involving groups of football fans".

Dunfermline Athletic hosted Falkirk in a League One fixture on the date, with the match later finishing a 1-1 draw.

But now those involved could be forced to stay away from the sport.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and officers are also seeking football banning orders.

Chief Inspector Joanne McEwan said: “We will continue to work closely with our partners and football clubs to minimise disorder and antisocial behaviour in order to keep people safe."
