Driver killed in Midlothian wall crash named by police

A man who died after his van crashed into a wall in Midlothian has been named by police.

Ewen Chisholm, 47, from Perth, died at the scene of the crash on the A6094 in the Howgate area at about 3.40pm on Saturday.

Police said his red Citroen Berlingo van struck a dry stone wall and overturned in the village.

A 14-year-old male passenger was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary as a precaution.

The road was closed for about five hours while officers investigated the scene.
