6-year-old bitten by dog at Cramond Beach

Police are searching for a dog owner after a 6-year-old was apparently bitten on her face, arms and body at Cramond beach over the weekend

A 6-year-old girl was bitten by a dog at Cramond Beach in Edinburgh on Friday evening, according to Police.

The incident happened around 5pm on March 18th when the young girl was walking with 3 older teenage family members.

A black Pitbull dog is alleged to have knocked her over and bit her face, arms and body.

The man in charge of the dog is described as white, about 60 years old, 6 feet tall, average build, white beard, wearing a red baseball cap, a long black coat and blue jeans.

The man thereafter left the area with the dog. The girl required medical attention in relation to her injuries.
