Cyclist In Serious Condition After Leith Walk Accident

A cyclist is seriously injured after a collision at the top of Leith Walk.

The accident happened a 8.45am at the junction with Haddington Place and Annandale Street.

The 25-year-old male cyclist has been taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infimary.

Sergeant Jerry Ross of Police Scotland said: “Police in Edinburgh are in attendance at a road traffic collision involving a cyclist at Haddington Place at its junction with Annandale Street. “The incident happened at around 8:45am on Tuesday, October 20, when a 25-year-old male cyclist was injured.

“The cyclist was transferred by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he remains in a serious condition. “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
