Cyclist in hospital after crash
A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a car in Edinburgh.
The crash happened on East Preston Street at around 6.30am on Monday.
Police said that a 24-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh by ambulance.
Road closures were in place at East Preston Street with Oxford Street, South Clerk Street at Bernard Terrace, West Preston Street at Causewayside and Newington Road at Salisbury Place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
