Crews battle Lochgelly flat fire

Emergency services remain at the scene this morning after the alarm was raised last night

Firefighters are continuing to battle a blaze that broke out at a block of flats in Lochgelly last night.

Emergency services were called to Francis Street at around 7.05pm on Monday.

Some residents were evacuated with a rest centre set up at the Lochgelly Centre on Bank Street.

A number of road closures are in place and locals have been urged to keep their windows and doors closed.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed there are no reports of any casualties.
