Man accused of murdering elderly Edinburgh woman appears in court

A man has appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a 77-year-old woman in Edinburgh.
The body of Jadwiga Szczygielska was found in her home in Pirniefield Bank, Seafield, on Saturday at around 7.50am.
Roman Frackiewicz, 44, was charged with murder when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
He did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody.
