Four men have been charged in connection with drug offences after drugs worth more than £1 Million were discovered in Kirkcaldy

Four men have been charged in connection with a massive drugs bust in Fife.

Police discovered a cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of over £1 Million in Kirkcaldy yesterday (May 4).

That was during the execution of a warrant at a property in the town's High Street.

The four men aged 21, 21, 26 and 29 are due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today (Thursday, 5 May, 2022).

Detective Inspector Stuart Hunter of CID said :

"The supply and distribution of controlled drugs continues to be a priority for us. We will seek every opportunity to disrupt and prosecute those that are involved across Fife and on this occasion we were assisted by our colleagues in the Air Support Unit.

“We would like to thank the public for their continued support and encourage anyone who concerns about drug activity to contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously."
