Cameron Fenton agrees new Edinburgh Rugby deal and Jason Baggot signs permanently
Edinburgh Rugby have announced a new deal for Cameron Fenton and have completed the signing of Jason Baggot on a permanent deal.
Fenton, who joined the club at the start of the season, has made nine appearances for the club so far and has been rewarded with a one-year extension, while Baggott joins from the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy.
Baggott, a fly-half, has been enrolled in the academy since arriving in Scotland from South Africa in 2015 and his one-year deal will start next season, and head coach Richard Cockerill is delighted to get the pair tied down.
He said: Cameron has been in good form since breaking into the first team last year and we're excited to see how he develops next season.
Jason is a young player who has impressed in both training, and whilst playing for Melrose, and we're glad that he's going to be a part of the club moving forward.'
