Callous thieves steal kids' Christmas presents in Fife

Police are hunting callous thieves who stole kids' Christmas presents from a house in Fife.

The heartless crooks broke into the property on Turner Crescent in Methil yesterday morning and also made off with cash and high value jewellery.

Sergeant Craig Fyall from Levenmouth Police Station said: "We are investigating following a housebreaking in Methil.

"The incident happened sometime between 7.30 a.m. and 1.55 p.m. on Tuesday 12th December at an address in Turner Crescent.

"A quantity of Pandora jewellery, watches, rings and a sum of cash was stolen along with some prescription medication. Inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.

"Anyone with information, or who is approached by someone looking to sell on items of this nature should contact police immediately and quote incident number 1666 of the 12th December.

"We would also strongly urge members of the public not to take any medication which is not prescribed to them, as this could have serious implications for your health.
