Boy, 11, Badly Hurt in Rush Hour Crash

An 11-year-old boy is seriously injured after a collision with a BMW during the morning rush hour in west Edinburgh.

An 11-year-old boy is seriously injured after a collision with a BMW during the morning rush hour in west Edinburgh. The accident happened on Bankhead Drive at around 8am and the child was taken to the Sick Kids hospital. A statement from Police Scotland said: "Police in Edinburgh attended a road traffic collision involving an 11-year-old child and a grey BMW on Bankhead Drive, Sighthill shortly after 8am this morning (Thurs). "The child was taken to the Sick Kids Hospital and is in a serious condition. "Police are continuing with their enquiries."
