An investigation has been launched after a body was recovered from an East Lothian harbour.

Emergency services were called to Port Seton just before 7am this morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ā€œWe were called around 6.50am on Tuesday, 18 July, to a report of a body in the water at the harbour, Port Seton.

ā€œEmergency services attended and the body was recovered.

ā€œThe death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.ā€
