Body found in search for missing Fife man Jason Cowie
He was last seen more than two weeks ago
A body has been found in the search for a man missing for more than a fortnight.
Police said the body was found within the grounds of a property in Fife on Tuesday.
The body is still to be formally identified but the family of missing man Jason Cowie, 43, has been informed of the find.
Mr Cowie was reported missing after last being seen in Kirkcaldy on May 3.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: Police in Fife have discovered a body as part of the ongoing search for missing man Jason Cowie.
The body was found within the grounds of a property in The Path, Kirkcaldy, on Tuesday May 17.
Formal identification is yet to take place, however Jason's family have been informed.''
