Police are investigating after a body of a man was discovered on Prestonpans beach.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the body of a man found on the beach near Prestonpans High Street around 1.20pm on Thursday, 2nd March.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
