Body found on Portobello beach that of missing man

The body of a man found on Portobello beach has been identified as that of Max Aitken.

Mr Aitken, 41, from the Stirling area, was reported missing from Larbert on May 16 and an investigation was launched.

He was seen later seen on CCTV in the capital. His body was found on May 29.

A statement from Police Scotland said: Our thoughts are with his family at this time.''
