Police in Edinburgh have this evening (November 7) confirmed they've found a man's body in a disused quarry on Torphin Road.

The discovery was made yesterday afternoon.

While formal identification is yet to take place, officers have informed the family of 36-year-old Stuart Campbell.

The Edinburgh resident was reported missing in March.

The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
