Body discovered in the water near Kirkcaldy Esplanade
Emergency services have closed off part of the area.
Kirkcaldy Esplanade has been taped off by emergency services after a body was discovered in the water.
It's thought to have happened at around eight o'clock this morning. Police remain on the scene.
Police say they're treating the death as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are currently in attendance in the Esplanade area of Kirkcaldy following the discovery of a body within the water. The death is currently being treated as unexplained and emergency services remain at the scene.”
