BMW damaged by man hanging out van window on M9

A BMW has been damaged after a man struck the windscreen while hanging out of the window of a van on a busy stretch of road.

The incident happened at about 10am on Tuesday on the M9 near junction four and Linlithgow Loch, heading towards Edinburgh.

A male passenger in a white van hung out the window and struck the windscreen of a white BMW 1 Series, police said.

Sergeant Andrew McGhee added: We're appealing for anyone who might have witnessed this incident to please contact us.

The M9 is a busy stretch of road and we're sure someone would have seen this.''
