Boy in a stable condition in hospital after being hit by a car in West Lothian

A four-year-old boy's been left in hospital after being hit by a car in a small West Lothian town.
Emergency services were called to Langside Drive in Blackridge at around 6.15pm on Saturday.
The child was taken by ambulance to Edinburgh's Sick Kids hospital where staff describe his condition as stable.
The 44-year-old female driver of the red Vauxhall Mokka involved was not injured in the crash.
Police are appealing for anyone who might have seen what happened to come forward.
