Big changes at Hibs on busy transfer deadline day
It was one of the busiest transfer deadline days a while for Forth area clubs - with the biggest changes coming at Hibs.
Neil Lennon's side were involved in a complex three-way deal involving Dundee and Celtic which saw Scott Allan return to the club on loan, Scott Bain - who'd only just joined the Hibees on loan - move to Celtic, and Simon Murray join Dundee on loan until the end of the season.
Hibs also confirmed the signing of keeper Cammy Bell.
The Hibees parted ways with Deivydas Mateluvicius by mutual consent and confirmed the departure of striker Anthony Stokes.
Liam Fontaine left the club to join Ross County.
On the other side of the city, Hearts were linked with a whole host of players but in the end their only signing was midfielder Joaquim Adao on loan from Sion.
Nikolay Todorov - who spent the first half of the season at Livingston - left the Jambos to join Queen of the South on loan.
Dunfermline had a busy transfer window and yesterday was no different for the Pars.
They brought in Daniel Armstrong on loan from Wolves, and loaned Callum Smith to Alloa.
East Fife signed highly rated Livingston youngster Matthew Knox on loan, and Adam Livingstone on loan from Motherwell.
Perhaps the biggest Scottish move outside of the local clubs came at Celtic, who signed defender Jack Hendry from Dundee.
