Balwearie Gymnastics Club say they have been 'distressed' by the break-in
Staff at the Balwearie Gymnastics Club in Kirkcaldy came back to their centre after the Christmas break to find someone had forced their way in and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to their gym.
They say around £30,000 worth of damage has been done.

"Our board of directors are writing to a number of agency’s to applying for some assistance and we hope to have our gym fully rectified soonest.
"We have since purchased an excellent CCTV system given this cowardly incident to protect us moving forward."
A crowdfunding page has now been set up to raise £30,000 to restore the damage caused by the vandals.
Police were called to the property and described the damage as 'substantial'.
Detective Constable Michael Nodes of Kirkcaldy’s Criminal Investigation Department said:
"The sheer scale of the vandalism undertaken during this incident is breathtaking and it has deprived the local community of a number of this expensive equipment.
"We are eager to trace those responsible and are appealing to the public for information. I would ask anyone who was in the Mitchelston Industrial Estate between Friday, December 21, and Thursday, December 27, and saw anything suspicious, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
"I would also ask anyone with CCTV that can assist our enquiries to please submit this to police for consideration."
