Babysitting App to launch in Edinburgh - would you use it?

It's a challenge many parents are familiar with - finding someone to look after your kids when you fancy a night out.

Now though a high-tech solution is launching in Edinburgh - a dedicated babysitting app.

It's called 'bubble' and it's already used in London.

The app works by letting parents rate local babysitters, who're vetted before signing up to the service.

Co-founder Ari Last said: "We're moving around far more these days and we're moving further and further away from our intrinsic and our natural support networks.

"So many parents have such a little support network they have no option and the alternative is they never go out.

"It's not just their social life that suffers - their work life suffers.

"Every babysitter has to pass our identity and background checks."
