Baby memorials vandalised with graffiti in Dunfermline
Officers were called out to Dunfermline cemetery around 10am on Saturday morning.
A baby memorial site in Dunfermline cemetery has been vandalised.
Offensive graffiti has been painted over gravestones with officers called out to the location on Halbeath Road around 10am on Saturday morning.
They say the paint has now been removed but that enquiries are at an early stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.05 am on Saturday, 1 May, 2021, police were contacted with regard to a vandalism at a baby memorial within Dunfermline Cemetery, Halbeath Road,
"Dunfermline. Officers have attended and the graffiti has been removed. Enquiries, which are at a very early stage, are continuing."
