A road where human remains were discovered in Livingston has now been re-opened to traffic.

The B7015 was closed as part of an ongoing investigation into the murder of Martin Hamilton - who was found in the area last month.

Police say investigation's into the 53-year-old's death are ongoing.

Temporary traffic lights have been installed on the B7015 to ensure the safety of those continuing to conduct enquiries at the scene.

Chief Inspector James Royan said: "We continue to utilise a variety of local and specialist resources to ensure a thorough and comprehensive investigation into the murder of Martin Hamilton.

"I want to extend my sincere thanks to the local community for their patience and support while we conduct our enquiries at the scene".

The 53-year-old was last seen about lunchtime on Thursday 16th April in Great Western Road in Glasgow. Enquiries carried out so far indicate that he may have died a short time after that.
