71-year-old man dies in crash near Linlithgow

A 71-year-old man has died in a crash near Linlithgow.

Officers are investigating the crash after passing drivers discovered his vehicle, which had struck a tree near the M9 southbound carriageway, in the early hours of this morning.

Paramedics were called to the scene but the driver was sadly pronounced dead.
