34-year-old Edinburgh man charged under Explosives Act

A 34-year-old man has been charged under the Explosives Act.

It comes after the bomb disposal unit was called to a flat on Taylor Place yesterday.

An 18-year-old woman died within the property on Sunday but Police Scotland says the arrest and items are not believed to be related to the unexplained death.

The man is expected to appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
