Hearts face a tough opening to the new Premiership campaign, as they welcome Brendan Rodgers' Celtic to Tynecastle on August 6th.

It's a difficult start for Neil Lennon at Hibs too - he'll start his Championship title push away to Falkirk, a team that finished above the Hibees in the league last year.

Elsewhere, Raith Rovers start away at Ayr Utd, Dunfermline mark their return to the division with a home match against Dumbarton.

In League One, newly relegated Livingston take on Stranraer, while newly promoted East Fife go against Albion Rovers.

It's two home ties for the local sides in League Two also, as Cowdenbeath take on Elgin and Edinburgh City, who made history last campaign by becoming the first team to win promotion through the pyramid system, take on Forfar.

Other notable fixtures include the first Old Firm game of the season at Celtic Park on September 10th and a meeting between probable Championship title contenders Hibs and Dundee Utd on October 1st.
