16-Year-Old Boy Charged With Bailey Gwynne's Murder Makes Second Court Appearance

The 16-year-old charged with the murder of Bailey Gwynne has appeared in court for the second time.

The teen, who can not be named for legal reasons, made a private appearance at Aberdeen Sheriff Court this afternoon.

He made no plea or declaration, and was remanded in custody.

The details of his next appearance will be confirmed in due course.

16-year-old Bailey Gwynne died after being fatally injured at an Aberdeen school on October 28.

The next day, hundreds attended a candle-light vigil for the teen at a local parish church.

Bailey's family have described him as their "beloved boy" who "never failed" to make them smile.
