14-year-old girl seriously assaulted at Knox Academy

Police are investigating a serious assault on a 14-year-old girl at Knox Academy in Haddington.

The school child was attacked at the school on the 28th of August and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly what happened.

It comes only a year after another pupil suffered intense burns during an acid attack.
