Name a Gritter!
Winter is coming.....and so are the new Gritters!
This year BEAR Scotland are deploying new ORANGE vehicles to treat the trunk roads across the area, and they are looking for your help!!
You can get involved right now and help name one of the new 32-tonne, eight-wheeled vehicles which will join the likes of Gritty Gritty Bang Bang, Sir Andy Flurry and For Your Ice Only in spreading salt and clearing snow from trunk roads in Scotland.
The gritter name should be no more than four words or a maximum of 25 characters, including spaces. The name could be anything winter related e.g Jack Frost or the name maybe bear related, such as Paddington or Yogi. We would like you to come up with ideas for a name to suit the gritter!

BEAR Scotland will draw up a shortlist of five names from those suggested. The competition closes on Sunday 15th of November 2020 at 23:59. You will then have a chance to vote for their favourite from the shortlisted names. The winning name will be the name that received the largest number of votes and that name will be applied to a local gritter which will be seen across the area this winter.
