From Beyoncé to Barbie and Queen Charlotte, there's so many alternative and trends Halloween ideas, that won't break the bank either.

To help you out in the costume department, we've gone ahead and broken down all of the top Halloween costume trends for 2023.

Viral Halloween costumes to wear in 2023 👇

Ariel from The Little Mermaid

A timeless classic some would say, but with the live-action movie hitting screens back in May, it looks like The Little Mermaid is making a grand comeback! And this year, with a new and improved look 🥰

Beyoncé on the Renaissance Tour

There's nothing Miss Carter cannot wear, but one of our favourites look from her recent Renaissance tour was the 'hands on' bodysuit. Bejeweled with gold crystal appliqué, the sparkling one-piece featured a series of strategically placed hand motifs, each decorated with long red nails. If you're feeling creative, why not DIY this look if you're on a budget.

Barbie - ALL OF THE LOOKS!

We've never been more jealous of someone's wardrobe than Barbie's! She was serving multiple looks to suit every form of barbie, two in particular we think might be popular this year are the Western outfit, complete with sparkling boots and white hat. And the neon 80s lycra look, don't forget your rollerblades.

Daisy Jones from Daisy Jones & The Six

The ultimate 70s bohemian queen - Daisy Jones left us feeling all groovy! Grab your floral flares, fur trimmed coats and knee-high boots! Long flowing hair and eye liner are also a must to complete look.

Harry Styles - Love on Tour Edition

Show after show, Harry Styles kept fans inspired with his endless Gucci dungaree suits, adidas gazelles and feather boas. Most fans will still have costumes from the tour that wrapped earlier this summer, so why not repurpose the items for this.

Ken from Barbie

Though he might be just Ken, the iconic doll makes for a pretty foolproof Halloween costume. Like Barbie there's a number of looks to choose from - the double denim, I'm Kenough hoody, beach Ken, western Ken or Angry Ken - the options are endless

John Dutton from Yellowstone

Are you keeping up with the Duttons? You can match the traditional Western style of John Dutton by sporting a weathered brown cowboy hat, a collard long-sleeve layered with a warm vest. A pair of boots and jeans don't hurt, either!

Robert J. Oppenheimer

Drawing inspiration from the late 30s/early 40s, your best bet for replicating Oppenheimer's costume is a grey suit, accompanied by a thin tie, sharply pointed shirt collar, and the iconic fedora hat featured in the movie.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour Edition

She's the #1 pop star on everyone's lips atm, and has endless Eras Tour outfits to choose from. DIY fans are buying swimsuits, glue guns and endless rhinestones. Some are even going as far as painting their soles red for fake Louboutin boots.

Jason Sudeikis aka Ted Lasso

If you're gutted Ted Lasso has sadly come to an end, then why not pay homage to the infamous character. Nothing comes easier than a pair of cream chinos, a shirt and sweater, comb your hair and perfect your moustache. Job done!

Cassie Howard in Euphoria

Poor Cassie went through an identity crisis in the latest series of Euphoria, but our favourite had to be this country chic number.

Mario & Luigi

The Super Mario Bros. film was a nostalgic moment for '90s and 2000's kids earlier this year, we're predicting people of all ages will embrace the Mario universe as they dress up as characters from the film like Bowser, Princess Peach and of course, Mario and Luigi.

M3gan doll

From her preppy peplum coat to her perfectly polished dresses and bows, M3GAN's picture-perfect looks are part of what makes her the creepiest robot we love to hate. You can easily buy this look from Amazon or Etsy online.

Queen Charlotte

It was the love story that has us all weeping, Bridgerton prequel Queen Charlotte is a charming costume for the fanciest of party-goers. It might be on the more expensive side, and difficult to recreate at home, but all you'll need is a gold ballgown with a white wig. Feel free to carry around a society paper for good measure.

Maddy Perez from Euphoria

She's the baddest of them all! There's no better time to channel your inner mad Maddie than at Halloween. Hair, nails and make-up are key to completing this look.

Rihanna's Super Bowl look

Superstar Rihanna dazzled everyone at the Super Bowl Halftime Show this year, wearing an amazing outfit designed by Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson. She shocked the world with her pregnancy announcement, so this look is perfect for anyone pregnant this time of year. You'll need a red jumpsuit, red puffer coat, red gloves and red sneakers.

Rue Bennett from Euphoria

One of the easiest costumes to replicate, you don't need to panic for any extravagant purchases. Rue generally wears comfy and gender-neutral clothes like hoodies, oversized T-shirts, cropped straight leg pants, and of course her famous burgundy zipped hoodie and converse.

Wednesday Adams

After the release of the Netflix series Wednesday, Jenna Ortega took the world by storm with her performance as Wednesday Addams, it is safe to say that the gothic will forever be a pop culture staple for Halloween.
Black frill dress, pigtail wig and black eye liner is a must!

Mabel Mora from Only Murders in the Building

She's the detective we all know and love, everything Selena Gomez touches turns to gold! Just think preppy 'new yorker' for this one, and don't forget to use RARE Beauty to finish it all off.

The Roy Family

Grab your fanciest-looking suit, designer dress and posh sunnies to channel anyone from the iconic Roy family - Shiv, Kendall, Roman or even Dad Logan are great character ideas.

Carmy from The Bear

It's one of the most talked about shows this year, The Bear made us laugh, cry and hungry all in one episode. This Halloween you could transform yourself into the beloved Chicago chefs like Carmy, all you need is a white tee, blue denim apron and fresh white crocs. Nothing more to do...may add a teatowel or beanie to finish things off.

Tanya from White Lotus

This lady knows how to keep up with the latest fashion trends. It doesn't matter if she's in Hawaii or Italy, she's effortlessly chic and knows it. This pink look from the second season is one of our favourites - pink scarf, heels and shades just scream Tanya!

Allan from Barbie

Poor Allan didn't get much credit for his hard work in the Barbie movie - if Ken isn't your thing, then perhaps Allan might be. A quick google search has shown a number of relatively cheap colourful shirts, navy shorts and black flip flops.
