On Monday night (30th July) 3.6 million people tuned in to see who would be crowned 2018 winners of Love Island and whilst everyone was hoping for the favourites Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, now we get to see exactly how close (or not) the results of the show's final were!
According to the latest figures released, although Dani and Jack came away with a massive 79.66% of the public vote between the 29th and 30th July, it was actually quite close between the remaining couples, who were placed in second, third and fourth places.
In figures posted on ITV's website, second place couple Laura Anderson and Paul Knops had 8.43% of the public vote, whilst third place couple, Kazimir Crossley and Josh Denzel weren't far behind with 6.05% of the vote. Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson - who ended up in fourth place - received 5.86% of the vote.
Now watch the most talked about moments of Love Island 2018:
Perhaps the closeness of the bottom three couples will put some viewers' minds at rest. Following Monday night's final, some fans were unhappy that relatively new couple Laura Anderson and Paul Knops finished in second place ahead of the other couples. According to reports, broadcasting standards agency Ofcom has received a number of complaints about Laura and Paul finishing in second place, as they were the only couple in the final not to be official 'boyfriend and girlfriend'.
Despite not being an official couple yet, Laura and Paul have since announced that they are hoping to continue their romance outside of the villa and see how things go between the pair.
See which Love Island 2018 couples are still together:

However, just days later, the pair were dumped from the villa in a cruel twist which involved their fellow Islanders deciding their fate.

In a decision which wasn't understood by their fellow Islanders, Georgia and Sam decided to split up and remain in the villa, with bosses throwing in new faces for them to go on dates with.
However, after realising they'd made the wrong decision, both Georgia and Sam refused to recouple with anybody else and were therefore dumped from the villa one week before the final.
