Emma and Matt Willis confirmed as hosts for Love Is Blind: UK
The new series will air on Netflix in 2024
Fans of Netflix show Love Is Blind were over the moon earlier this year when bosses announced a UK version was in the works, and now, with applications for the show closed, it has been confirmed that married couple Emma and Matt Willis will host the series!
The pair, who got married back in 2008, announced the news on Thursday 24th August, as they featured in a promotional video for the series, which is due to air in 2024.
In the video, Emma, 47, and Matt, 40, sat in the famous Love Is Blind pods as they discussed their own dating life, with the caption reading: 'Introducing your hosts of Love Is Blind: UK…Welcome to the pods, Emma and Matt Willis!! ❤️ Coming 2024'. (sic)
Fans were quick to express their excitement at the news, with one excited fan commenting: 'Good choice I reckon!' (sic)
Another wrote: 'Oooh interesting choice! @emmawillisofficial and @mattjwillis will OWN this 👏 😍', with a third writing: 'I don’t watch this stuff but I will watch this for these two 🤣'. (sic)
Netflix say of the UK version: 'UK singles who want to be loved for who they are have signed up for a less-conventional approach to modern dating, and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them.
'Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the Pods. When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with?
'Hosted by Matt and Emma Willis, this series will uncover whether looks, race or age do matter, or if love really is blind.'
