Kylie Minogue wouldn't say no to another Doctor Who appearance 👀
She played Astrid Peth in 2007
'Padam Padam' singer Kylie Minogue joined us for Answers The Internet, a series where we find the questions that the real fans want to know answers to, and get artists, such as the fantastic Kylie, to answer.
While Kylie is known for a whole host of fantastic songs, dating all the way back to the late 80s, up to the present day, with the release of her 16th studio album 'Tension', she's also a talented actress, having started out in Neighbours.
She also appeared in several other shows and films including Moulin Rouge! and Kath & Kim, and in 2007, she took on the role of Astrid Peth in Doctor Who. Describing the experience as "amazing to be in such a beloved show", alongside David Tennant, Kylie hinted that she wouldn't be adverse to returning to the TV. She told us: "I wouldn't mind if Astrid Peth came back," before whispering: "Just saying!"
Kylie's fans are very creative, and not only has one fan made 'Voyage of the Padam-ed', a play on the Doctor Who episode she appeared in, and her huge single 'Padam Padam', the staff at Hobbycraft Wimbledon went viral with their video for 'Padam Padam'.
Kylie admitted she almost fell off her chair when she saw it: "Hobbycraft Wimbledon... I nearly fell off my chair when all the first memes and videos and TikToks and so forth were coming through for ‘Padam’" she explained.
"Hobbycraft Wimbledon went to extra lengths. I mean, they must have missed out on a few sales that day because they were very busy Padamming."
