Next week's Hollyoaks sees Tegan and Diane clash over Dee Dee's treatment, Mac return to the village, and James plot to get him out... at whatever cost. But before we get into all the gory details of next week's storylines, let's remind ourselves what this week had in store.
The Nightingales found out Mac Nightingale was awake after Yazz Mallik pretended to Alfie Nightingale that he thought he called him. They then rushed to hospital, where they were shocked to see him awake and out of bed.
While James Nightingale wasn't pleased that his father was awake, Mac was keen for them to be a family again.
The Nightingales then argued about whether or not to let Mac back into the family after his past behaviour.
Things with Russ Owen and his wife-to-be Mercedes McQueen took a turn for the worse when he started to suspect she was a serial killer after noting all her previous husbands seem to have died...
Mercedes worried that his strange behaviour toward her was because he found out about her and Sylver McQueen.

An angry Imran is supposed to be going on a date with Brooke, so Yazz decides to drug him to calm him down - but realises the pills have run out!

Darren makes Brooke a safe space that she can go to when she feels stressed, so makes a sensory den for her in her room complete with lava lamps. But she doesn't react well to the changes.
An angry Imran is supposed to be going on a date with Brooke, so Yazz decides to drug him to calm him down - but realises the pills have run out!
After picking up the pills without her mum's knowledge, the pharmacist becomes suspicious - how will she explain this one?
When Imran discovers Yazz has been drugging him with anxiety pills, he loses it and punches her in the stomach.
Yazz decides not to tell Misbah about the punch because she is terrified of Imran.
Imran tells Yazz that if she tells Misbah he will punch her again.
Breda decides to try and help her son out and play cupid after she spots chemistry between Mercedes and Sylver.
Mac has flashbacks of everyone who's wronged him and becomes vengeful as he regains his strength.
Mac returns to the village!
James is horrified to learn that Mac is back.
James offers Sylver £10,000 to get rid of Mac (by any means necessary!).
Ant refuses to go to school without Dee Dee, so Ste brings school to them and teaches them in hospital.
A frustrated Dee Dee throws a tantrum and tries to leave the hospital, the doctors tell them the medication isn't working and she is running out of options.
Tegan is devastated when Dee Dee no longer recognises her due to her condition.
The doctor suggests they start giving Dee Dee chemotherapy treatment.
Diane tells Tegan that she doesn't have a say in Dee Dee's treatment.
Diane tells Tegan that she's going to go ahead with the chemotherapy.
Tegan hires James as her laywer as she believes she should be able to have a say in her treatment because she's Dee Dee's biological mother.
Harry continues to sneak off to hook up with James.
Ste makes a video pleading to Tony to return home and posts it on social media. He receives a message from someone claiming to be Tony.
