After Laurie is sentenced he bumps into Sinead's brother...
There's quite the week ahead for the Hollyoaks residents. It all begins with Sinead O'Connor taking her mind off Laurie Shelby's trial and heading to a festival. She gets drunk and ends up kissing Sami Maalik – is this the beginning of a new relationship?
Meanwhile some of the teenagers also head to the festival but things take a turn for the worse when Juliet's reactions results in Brooke Hathaway having a sensory overload…
Scott Drinkwell and Mitchell Deveraux begin to hang out, Prince McQueen makes a huge life changing decision and Joel Dexter and Goldie McQueen open up to each other.
Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 5 – Friday 9 August 2019
The week begins with Sami giving Sinead free tickets to a festival. She decides not to attend Laurie's trial but is then left disgusted when she reads a letter from her evil husband. She decides to pay him a visit – but what will he say?
A drunken Sinead decides to invite Lisa Loveday and Cleo McQueen to the festival. Elsewhere Diane Hutchinson tells Sami to look after her daughter and asks him to go to the festival too.
Sami surprises Sinead at the festival. She then decides that she wants to have a good time and not think about Laurie's tries and ends up flirting with Sami. It's not long before Sinead kisses Sami…
It's the day of Laurie's court cases and he gets sentenced to four years imprisonment. Diane is over the moon that the drama is finally over.
Laurie is escorted to the police van that Finn O'Connor is in. During their car journey the men begins to chat and when Finn admits his crimes, he urges Laurie to do the same.
As soon as Laurie mentions Sinead's name is dawns on Finn that he's her abusive husband. It doesn't take long for things to kick off with Finn lunging at his brother-in-law.
Back at the festival Sinead gives Sami the cold shoulder following last night's events and decides to hitch hike a ride home.
Sami rushes to help Sinead after Diane tells him some shocking news – will he reach her in time?
Sinead and co aren't the only residents heading to the festival. They end up sharing a ride with Imran Maalik, Juliet Quinn, Brooke and Ollie Morgan.
Juliet asks Brooke to try and buy alcohol for them because she looks older… The next day she's angry at Brooke and ends up stealing her purse.
When Brooke realises that she's lost her purse she goes back to the DJ tent to find it. However during her time there she has a sensory overload and falls to the floor screaming for help…
Juliet is overwhelmed by guilt when she spots Brooke but the next day, Brooke is left furious when she spots her purse in Juliet's bag. As tension reaches new heights she ends up falling out with Juliet and Ollie.
Elsewhere in the village, as Scott gets ready for Anita Tinkle he applies his false eyelashes by ends up accidentally gluing his eye shut.
Luckily, Mitchell is on hand at the hospital and tenderly looks after Scott however when Cleo arrives he rushes off.
It's not long before Cleo puts two and two together and confronts her boyfriend over his weird behaviour around Scott – what will he say?
Scott wants to take Mitchell out for a lads day to help take his mind off missing Cleo. However there plans change when Scott is needed at the last minute to perform at The Dog as a drag agony aunt.
Mitchell decides to step in and help Anita's agony aunt act by getting on the stage and giving her medical advice.
Prince asks Tom Cunningham for his job back but he's reluctant. And eager Peri Lomax manages to help convince him to recruit Prince back.
Yazz Maalik plays match maker between Peri and Prince and it's not long before Tom spots the sparks flying between them.
Tom decides to stop anything from happening between Peri and Prince by separating them. It doesn't work and Tom is left frustrated.
Tom decides to tell Prince that Lily Drinkwell has only been gone a few months and other people in the village might judge him.
Goldie McQueen is furious with her son Prince's life changing decision however it looks like she forgives him because she and the rest of the family help him plan his trip.
Joel Dexter feels a little awkward about dating Goldie and she later decides to meet him in the confession booth. The pair begin to open up – will they be happy at the end of their conversation?
Ste Hay prepares for another match and Jonny Baxter plots to set him up with Jed again. Will it be second time lucky?
Before the drama above there's a busy week in store for the residents this week... It's Damon Kinsella and Maxine Minniver's wedding day and as they eagerly wait to say their vows, the bride's lies about her health are catching up on her...
Dr Levi Rochester is well aware that the bride-to-be is suffering from Munchausen's syndrome and when he tells her that she needs to come clean, she threatens to ruin his career if he breaks patient/client confidentiality. Elsewhere Sienna Blake continues with her plan to kidnap the twins but will anyone be able to stop her?
Also Cleo McQueen is jealous when she discovers Mitchell Deveraux is still stripping, Scott Drinkwell continues to gush about his relationship with Levi and Sinead receives a letter from Laurie.
