Spring is just around the corner, which for those in Emmerdale is somehow a sign of passion, as many characters are positively dizzy with feelings of the amorous type, starting with Belle Dingle and Jamie Tate.

After the pair slept together on the night of Graham Foster's murder, despite Jamie being married, there's some form of "spark" between them which they're unable to ignore, and when they find themselves in a field, their lips lock once more.

Meanwhile, Jamie's wife Andrea Tate is back at home waiting for him, dressed in her finest lingerie. And when he returns home, his missus is clearly up for it, and the poor guy has no choice but to gear himself up for round two…

Elsewhere, the day of the joint christening for Emmerdale’s youngest arrives, and it’s a big day for Victoria Sugdne. The kind-hearted gal goes over to give Wendy Posner a big squeeze when she sees how upset she is about the son she’s lost (albeit rapist son).

Later on, when Vic’s back at her gaff with Luke Posner she asks him if he fancies an “early night” - yikes. The boy’s on cloud nine, but surely this level of happiness can’t last long in Soapland…?

CHECK OUT: Emmerdale spoilers Monday 23rd - Friday 27th March

CHAS AND PADDY AT LOGGERHEADS

Aaron Dingle notices the underlying tension between Paddy Kirk and Chas Dingle. Later, after the joint christenings the whole pub is left stunned when Chas comes clean and berates Paddy for leaving Eve Dingle alone, clearly still distraught and angry. Paddy is left full of self-loathing and leaves.

Soon Chas finds Paddy's note and, devastated, she tries to get through to Paddy on the phone. Paddy arrives at Marlon Dingles's who tries to make him see sense and stop punishing himself and when Aaron arrives, he tells Paddy that he needs to fix things with Chas.

At the Woolpack, Chas despairs when Social Services turn up and she has to cover for Paddy's whereabouts. When he fails to turn up, Chas fumes at Paddy for letting Eve down, leaving Paddy utterly bereft. Can the couple move on from this and how will their meeting with social services go? Has Paddy ruined their chances?

VICTORIA AND LUKE TAKE THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO THE NEXT LEVEL

At the babies' joint Christening, it all becomes too much for Wendy and she breaks down in tears, overcome with grief for the son she's lost. Bob and Luke console her, and later Wendy is taken by surprise when Victoria wordlessly goes over to her and gives her a heartfelt hug.

Victoria and Luke return to Keepers and grow closer. Victoria asks Luke if he fancies an 'early night'. The morning after, Luke's on cloud nine but Victoria displays a flicker of awkwardness. Something's clearly not quite right with her… Is it too much too soon? Can she carry on having a relationship with Luke?

Eric Pollard impresses Brenda Walker with his healthy snacks and proposes she try them out. Jacob Gallagher starts to suspect that Pollard might like Brenda a little more than he's making out and when Pollard offers to buy Brenda a drink, his suspicions are confirmed.

Later, Pollard welcomes everyone to the café's menu relaunch but Dan Spencer and Matty Barton get carried away with the free booze. Later, a hungover Dan forgets to bring money to the Café so Brenda asks him to help her make-up the wraps with her so he can work off the debt.

Dan eats one of the wraps but starts to feel his throat grow itchy and his face turn red. He loses his balance when reaching for his phone, leaving him terrified and in agony. As Dan is carted off to hospital, what does this mean for Brenda? Will Dan be okay?

JAMIE CAN’T RESIST

Jamie and Belle are awkward in each other's company. On a call out from the vets, an angry Belle confronts Jamie about him getting back together with Andrea and says they can no longer be friends.

However, when Jamie tells Belle that he is only with Andrea out of guilt, the sexual tension between them proves too much and they kiss. Whilst waiting for Jamie in her lingerie, Andrea checks her watch for the umpteenth time.

Genuinely worried, she picks up her phone to call him. Meanwhile, in a nearby field the reality of what Jamie and Belle have just done hits them when Jamie sees a bunch of missed calls from Andrea….

Later, Jamie lies to Andrea about his reason for being late and Andrea tries to kiss him. Unable to resist, a guilt-ridden Jamie kisses her back and pushes her on to the sofa...

LIAM HAS A CHOICE TO MAKE

Leyla and Liam are about to get intimate, but have to hide when they are disturbed by Jacob and David.
Leanna's suspicions about Liam and Leyla are confirmed when she clocks Leyla flirting with him at the cafe.

Frustrated they're still seeing one another, Leanna fills Gabby and Jacob in on what she saw between them.
Later, Liam and Leyla try to explain their relationship to an upset Gabby and dismissive Leanna, but when Leanna insists Liam choose between her and Leyla...what will Liam do?

Elsewhere, David thanks everyone for coming to Theo Christening. David’s day is made perfect by a confirmation from the court granting him parental responsibility for Theo.

Rhona’s overwhelmed with emotion upon learning Mark’s been sentenced to life in prison. Zak is pleased to be back with his family.

Malone gives an anxious Will the details of a new job. Later, Will’s floored to realise Cain’s had enough of working for Malone.

And finally, Aaron tells Billy he’s going to take a few more days before he comes back to work and that Billy’s job is safe.
