According to reports, boss Kate Oates is 'keen' for Phil and Sharon to be at the heart of the show and this love triangle and two pregnancies is the way to do it.
A source said, "EastEnders are putting Phil and Sharon back at the heart of the show. In a shock twist next month Sharon discovers she’s pregnant.
"But there’s gonna be a ‘who’s the daddy?’ dilemma cos she romped with her toyboy lover Keanu last week so is he the dad or is Phil?"
When Sharon and Keanu's affair finally comes to light, Phil will apparently go on a "bloody rampage" after discovering Karen's son has left both his wife and daughter pregnant.
Not only that but the storyline is set to explore Sharon experiencing pregnancy later on in life.
There's SO many questions - When will Louise tell Keanu she's keeping the baby? How will Phil get revenge? Could he kill the father of his grandchild? Will this FINALLY be the end of Phil and Sharon's marriage? Could Phil relapse following the devastating revelation?
The news comes shortly after it was confirmed that Louise's mum Lisa Fowler is returning to the Square with a 'thrilling' storyline.
