But things aren't all rosy in the family as Leanne and Steve are delivered a devastating blow when they're told that Oliver is no longer able to breathe on his own.
Leanne's shock soon turns to anger and she accuses doctors of not caring about her son, determined to get a second opinion.
A specialist from another hospital comes to see Oliver but it's not good news as she agrees with the initial assessment. A desperate Leanne does some research online and finds a potential solution...

Later on, David goes to express his gratitude to Ray but soon is suspicions are roused when Ray offers to give David the full asking price for his unliveable home.
On Nina's advice, Shona goes to visit David at number 8 to tell him what a great time she had at the hotel and that she's ready to move back in with him, but David isn't so sure.
At the Kabin, Sally bumps into Debbie and after hearing of her situation at home, assures Debbie that Abi is a good woman and loves her brother.
Feeling mollified, Debbie extends an olive branch to Abi and over coffees in Victoria Gardens suggests that they start their relationship over.
Abi is relieved that she and Debbie will no longer be at loggerheads but is consumed with guilt as all she can think about is getting her next fix.
When Kevin arrives home from his trip, Abi comes clean about stealing some morphine from the hospital and leaning on Peter for support.

After Paul's outburst, Billy's concerns deepen and he gently probes Paul about why he thought Kel was murdered and if he had anything to do with it. Paul is defensive.

But first, here's what's happening on Coronation Street this week.
When Oliver Battersby's seizure alarm goes off, Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald rush him to the hospital where the doctors quickly put him on life support in ICU.
While Leanne is adamant he'll pull through, Steve and Nick Tilsley don't share her optimism but things get even more tense for Nick when he runs into his ex, Natasha Blakeman, in the car park.
Corrie fans will remember Natasha from a DECADE ago (how has it been that long?) when she was dumped by Nick before finding out she was pregnant with his baby.
He took her back but she later had a secret abortion, and when Gail Platt unearthed the whole thing, she left in a taxi for good.
UNTIL NOW.
Will the chemistry between them still crackle?
